----------------------------------------- Voodoo Banshee Windows(r) 2000/XP Driver Kit ----------------------------------------- Voodoo Banshee(tm) Driver kit: 1.02.02-Beta Voodoo Banshee Win2k(r) Display Driver and Miniport: 5.00.2195.0002 Glide(tm) 2.X Driver: 2.61.00.0674 (modified) Glide 3.X Driver: 3.10.00.0674 (modified) OpenGL(r) Driver Version: 1.0.0.0761 ICD October 2001 ************************************** NOTE: This driver set has been modified by me, to better suit the operation of my 3dfx Voodoo Banshee. This release contains 3dfx Banshee drivers which have been tweaked for Windows XP. This driver core has better GDI/D3D performance than the default XP miniport. In order for OpenGL/Glide to operate, the Glide libs have been modified. For this reason, I urge caution... I have included a list of the mods made to the glide libs in the file "glidemods.txt". Other ICDs will work, but may not be as stable. This miniport does not support 3dfxTools properly, so it has been omitted. I have included the 3dfx installer to simplify the installation process. Note: BSOD & core dump on exit of OpenGL apps is common. To disabled hardware OpenGL support, editing the following registry key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\OpenGLdrivers\3dfx\Flags Change the registry value for "Flags" to "0". This is annotated in 3dfxvb2k.inf which you can edit prior to installing this driver set if you wish. Follow the installation procedure below.
